How AI works in Ideqo

A plain-language record of the system’s purpose, providers, data flow, limitations, human oversight, and export provenance.

Last updated: 5 September 2026

01

The clear version

Lume is an AI guide, not a person. Ideqo uses generative AI to analyse the information you provide, ask follow-up questions, support research, and draft fundraising-readiness and product-strategy materials.

Ideqo and Lume do not decide whether you receive funding. They do not represent investors, verify every fact, or replace legal, financial, tax, investment, or other professional advice.

02

Intended use

  • Assess fundraising readiness and identify gaps in a startup case.
  • Guide founders through structured strategy workflows and evidence gathering.
  • Draft, improve, connect, and organize materials for a business data room.
  • Summarize user-provided materials and, when requested, support external research.

03

How the system works

Ideqo is the application and orchestration layer. Its AI features currently use commercial Claude models supplied by Anthropic. Ideqo adds workflow instructions, product context, safety controls, file access limited to the active workspace, and output validation around those models.

A workflow may use configured research or retrieval services to access public sources when external evidence is needed. Models, tools, and providers may change as the product develops; material changes will be reflected here or in the Privacy Policy.

04

Data used by AI features

Depending on the task, Ideqo may send your prompt, relevant conversation context, onboarding answers, selected workspace files, and retrieved public-source material to an AI provider so it can generate a response. Do not provide secrets, credentials, payment-card data, government identifiers, or content you are not authorized to process.

Anthropic states that inputs and outputs from its commercial products, including its API, are not used for model training by default. Ideqo does not opt your workspace content into provider model training. See the Privacy Policy for processing purposes, recipients, transfers, retention, and your rights.

05

Limitations and human oversight

  • AI can produce inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, inconsistent, or fabricated content and citations.
  • Scores and recommendations depend on the information available and may change when the evidence changes.
  • You must review facts, calculations, sources, legal claims, and confidential material before relying on or sharing an output.
  • You control whether to use, edit, export, or share an output. Contact us if an output appears unsafe, misleading, or seriously incorrect.

06

AI-assisted exports

Ideqo identifies exported strategy documents as prepared with AI assistance. Markdown and plain-text exports include a provenance record; HTML exports include visible disclosure and embedded provenance metadata; PDF exports carry the disclosure in their rendered content. Keep these notices and metadata intact when sharing an output.

A provenance notice describes how the document was prepared. It is not a certificate that the document is accurate, complete, investor-approved, or legally compliant.

07

Uses outside the product’s purpose

  • Do not use Ideqo as the sole basis for decisions that determine a person’s access to employment, education, credit, insurance, housing, public benefits, or another essential service.
  • Do not use Ideqo for biometric categorization, emotion recognition, social scoring, manipulation, deception, impersonation, or unlawful discrimination.
  • Do not remove or conceal AI-origin information in order to mislead another person about how content was created.
  • Do not present an Ideqo score or output as a funding decision, investor commitment, professional opinion, or guarantee.

08

EU transparency context

This disclosure supports clear AI interaction and content-origin information. The applicable legal classification can depend on how a system is deployed and used. The authoritative sources are the EU AI Act, the European Commission Article 50 guidelines, and the Code of Practice on AI-generated content.
